90% of them used 🤖 AI content.
Here’s what I did:
Initially, I was calm and patient for the first 7-8 days after the update.
During this period, I published only 1-2 pages or posts (of good quality) to see if we could get them indexed, with the help of AI, of course, 😛.
And we succeeded!
It was an experiment to see what was required!
Using this information, I began updating all the old and thin content.
My key takeaways are:
– Answer the question right at the beginning.
– Focus not on the word count but on answering as simply as possible.
– Add some unique pictures (recreated with Canva).
– Provide as much information as possible.
– Manually create internal links with proper anchor text.
– Fix the URL structure (3-4 words max.) and don’t forget about redirection.
– Perform basic on-page SEO (sometimes, basics work better).
And BOOM!
We started getting all those previously unindexed pages indexed!
